You Took My Name is another great logo project– reminds me of the distorted identities project we saw, and of course Zev’s great logo destruction.
“We’re working on a series of paintings that strip famous logos back to their basic graphic forms. Creating pieces that we think are artworks in their own right. Recognise any?”
A work of illustration and an original comparison enter the towns of Paris and New York. “Tally off two cities has” presents nearly 20 posters coloured around several urban topics. A realization of Vahram Muratyan, to discover on the site dedicated like in the continuation of the article.
My buddy Jean Jullien just updated his portfolio with lots of new work and clearly he’s becoming super famous. He’s got a bunch of new projects from clients like Nike, Waterstone’s and Plac Jeans, but some of my favorites are the images above. The top and bottom ones are from his degree show at the Royal College of Arts and is called Fancy Fence. I think it does a great job of summing up Jean’s style and work in one huge, fancy fence. The middle images were created for Waterstone’s stores as some kind of peripherals, I just thought they were really cute. Keep up the excellent work Mr. Jullien.
